This one is for my cousin, Katie, turning 16. Top layer is strawberry (her favorite). Bottom layer is white cake with strawberries in the filling. Buttercream icing with fondant/gumpaste decorations.
This is the cake we had to do for our "finale" cake in my cake decorating class. These are all the flowers I learned plus the basketweave design and the rope border.
This cake was so fun to make! Bottom layer is white, top layer is strawberry, iced in buttercream. "Stonework" took a while but totally worth the effort. Towers made out of ice cream cones.
36 cupcakes (yellow and chocolate) arranged and then iced on top as a sheet cake. Makes serving at the party so easy...just pull cupcakes apart...no cutting necessary. I've also added a picture of the plate I was given to "copy" onto the cake.
I created this cupcake for my friend whose favorite Starbucks drink is the "Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate." It is by far my favorite so far! Something about the salt with the chocolate - it's heaven!
